Data storytelling aims to increase the impact of existing presentations, support memorability and activate decision-making mechanisms based on the presentation. Unlike traditional PowerPoint presentations that are often simply read and ignored, data storytelling emphasizes adapting numbers, visuals, and visualizations to real-life situations.

It explores not only the technical but also the emotional and social aspects of events by using techniques such as metaphors and comparisons. As data-based presentations will eventually reach us, the events analyzed by the data should appeal to people.

Data storytelling is a combination of a narrative approach, visuals, and data itself.

Whether for your personal or occupational requirements, we all aspire to have an impact on people or things. In this regard, storytelling is an essential tool. While data visualization and analytics are necessary for effective communication with widgets and numbers, engaging an audience through a compelling narrative is crucial.
